Homemaking: Organizing

It seems like the theme of my life this week has been organization, or the lack-of.  I've been completely off my game lately, my house is a complete MESS.  Now things are so bad that if I don't get up and do something about it soon, I'll probably drown in the waves of clutter that have cropped up all over my house.  Well, today I'm feeling the courage to tackle my clutter monsters.  I've decided to arm myself with a few suggestions from around the blogosphere.

I always find helpful articles over at Money Saving Mom on everything from the latest deals to homemaking.  Crystal is doing a series on Time Management and she has some truly helpful suggestions. Today I found some helpful tips on dealing with the laundry, which happens to be my least favorite chore.  So as you can imagine, I found myself jumping for joy to read her helpful tips.

I also found some super helpful tips from Simple Mom, there's a great article on organization that perked me up this morning.  I can definitely live by the 6 Tips for Getting Organized, I know my home and hidden necessities will thank me.

The plan is to organize one room each day (closets may count as a room...on lazy days). Stuff like my mountains of mail and laundry will also have to have their own day.  For those things I guess it's more accurate to say that I'll be trying to find a new system that works for me.   I'm going to continue to look around on the internet for inexpensive, cute, and realistic ideas to help me on this journey.

I'll keep you posted on how it's going!

If you have any suggestions or ideas on any aspect of organization, I would LOVE to hear about it!

Until then,
~Blessings~
